The New England Patriots are a couple of weeks away from the roster cutdown deadline, and the competition is heating up at a multitude of different positions.
Nothing is guaranteed with newly-hired coach Mike Vrabel running the show. There has been a mass exodus of familiar faces throughout the year, and that will likely continue when the team is forced to cut its roster down to 53 players.
So much can change between now and the August 26 deadline, but there have been enough training camp practices and one preseason game to get a sense of where certain key players currently stand.
