Stefon Diggs joined the New England Patriots coming off of a torn ACL.
That meant one obvious thing, that the Pats would be hoping his recovery went well so he could get back on the field to help out sooner rather than later.
It also meant something less obvious: Diggs wouldn't get his money right away.
Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio broke it down: He had a $12 million signing bonus, and his $10.6 million in additional contract guarantees hinged on a passed physical, too.
On Saturday, the Patriots released their initial physically unable to perform list, and Diggs wasn't on it.
