Patriots' Stefon Diggs' Ability to Perform and Lead is Crucial in 2025

The New England Patriots went out and signed receiver Stefon Diggs to a three-year, $69 million contract this offseason to give quarterback Drake Maye his No. 1 option in the passing game.

However, Diggs comes with quite some risk. The four-time Pro-Bowler is an elite receiver; let's not get that twisted. But he's had his troubles in the locker room, with teammates and coaches, and he's currently recovering from a torn ACL that ended his 2024 season early.

Diggs' tenure in New England didn't have the strongest start, as the first glimpses of him after signing his contract with the Patriots were on a boat with an unknown substance.
