FOXBOROUGH — One of the most competitive position battles during New England Patriots training camp has been the kickers.
Rookie Andy Borregales, whom the Patriots selected in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL draft, has been going head-to-head with veteran kicker Parker Romo. And so far, there hasn't been one clear winner.
“At the end of the day, we’ll see what happens at the end of training camp because we still have a long way to go,” Patriots special teams coordinator Jeremy Springer said before practice on Monday. “I love how both guys are competing right now to earn a role, and that’s the biggest thing.
