Patriots Sign Running Back Trayveon Williams to 90-Man Roster

The New England Patriots have signed free agent running back Trayveon Williams, who spent the first six years of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter. The Patriots have last year's starter, Rhamondre Stevenson, and last year's backup, Antonio Gibson, returning as well as the addition of second-round pick TreVeyon Henderson. However, the fourth-string spot is currently held by Terrell Jennings, but is completely up for grabs and not locked down yet.

This means that Williams will have a chance to make the roster or at least make the practice squad.
