The New England Patriots have signed LB Trevor Reilly to their practice squad on Thursday and released DB Alex Carter from the unit. The Patriots also placed G Cole Toner on the practice squad injured list.

Reilly, 29, is a former seventh-round pick of the Jets back in 2014.
