One of the Patriots‘ early-season playmakers is set to stay at Foxborough for a little while longer.
Cornerback Marcus Jones, who has two interceptions so far in 2025 and has made plays for New England’s secondary on several occasions, has signed a contract extension, according to the Patriots.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the length of the extension is three years per multiple sources.
Jones, 27, was in the final year of his rookie contract, and was set to become an unrestricted free agent.
