The New England Patriots’ high-scoring slugfest against the Seattle Seahawks Sunday night will be remembered for the final play. That was a failure to execute.
As for the rest of the game, there was plenty to be excited about for a Patriots team that’s trying to redefine itself in the post-Tom Brady era.
The Seahawks are good. Russell Wilson is really good. In a game where the opposing quarterback was on fire, the Patriots held on and had a chance at the end. A lesser team would’ve gotten blown out Sunday night.
