Patriots rookie WR made play of the day at second open OTAs practice

New England Patriots rookie wide receiver Kyle Williams was one of the standout playmakers at Wednesday's second open OTAs practice. He showed off his speed and separation abilities right out of the gates, including on a highlight reel play-of-the-day catch.

Cornerback Miles Battle was in coverage on the play when Williams made an adjustment to catch a ball over the shoulder. It was an impressive play that emphasized what the Patriots saw in the former Washington State standout when drafting him in the third round.

The ability to separate and make tough catches is something the Patriots needed more of at the receiver position.
