According to Mike Reiss of ESPN, the New England Patriots' offensive linemen chose to push their weekly Thursday dinner to Friday night in order to attend the evening's NBA matchup at the TD Garden between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.
That decision ultimately led to an incredibly memorable moment for Boston sports fans which further endeared many to rookie offensive tackle Will Campbell.
When the Garden's jumbotron displayed a shot of the suite occupied by the group of Patriots teammates, Campbell jumped up from his chair, removed his shirt, finished off a beer that was handed to him, spiked the empty cup on the ground, and then waved his arms in excitement to further fire-up the already electric packed house of Celtics faithful.
