The New England Patriots drafted running back TreVeyon Henderson in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and Henderson is already turning heads in training camp. The Ohio State standout ran for 3,761 yards during his four years with the Buckeyes and scored 48 total touchdowns. Now, he's competing for the starting job in New England.
New England will likely use Rhamondre Stevenson and Henderson in tandem in the backfield, but Henderson's speed and hands out of the backfield may earn him increased playing time sooner than expected.
"There’s a lot of excitement within Patriots circles about rookie RB TreVeyon Henderson,” NFL Insider Jordan Schultz wrote in an X post.
