New England Patriots rookie center/guard Jared Wilson revealed that he tweaked his ankle last week. He did not start in the second preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings, but he was back at practice on Monday.
Veteran offensive lineman Ben Brown worked at left guard with the top unit at last Thursday’s joint practice. It was reported that the reason for Wilson's temporary demotion was a combination of health, performance and the team wanting to see Brown get more reps at guard.
Wilson was back working with the starters at Monday's practice.
