The New England Patriots made several moves in an effort to beef up their offense this offseason. One of those moves saw the front office select wide receiver Kyle Williams in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Williams starred in college over the past two seasons with the Washington State Cougars. In 2024, he caught 70 passes for 1,198 yards and 14 touchdowns, with the latter two figures both being tops among qualified pass catchers from independent Division I schools.
New England’s selection of Williams with the No. 69 overall pick has been lauded as one of the best selections in the draft, as several talent evaluators believe he can make an immediate impact on their offense.
