New England used the opportunity to start a competition between four players in the egg drop challenge.
Josh Dobbs hosted the competition because, as DeMario Douglas said, Dobbs is “a science type guy.” Douglas, Robert Spillane, Marcus Jones and Christian Gonzalez all brought their devices to keep their egg safe to claim the egg drop trophy.
Of the four players to drop the egg, only one failed to keep his safe.
Gonzalez attempted to keep his egg safe by putting padding inside a football and placing the egg inside.
