The Patriots reportedly brought in an intriguing defensive back for a workout on Tuesday in former Titans corner Caleb Farley, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
The 25-year-old Farley has plenty of upside. He was taken 22nd overall in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Titans after two impressive seasons at Virginia Tech.
But injury issues have hampered Farley’s ability to stick in the NFL ranks, with the North Carolina native only playing in 12 total games over his last three seasons with the Titans.
Farley suffered a torn ACL — the second of his football career after injuring his knee with the Hokies — during his rookie season in 2021 after appearing in just three games, while back injuries limited him to nine games the following season.
