The final hurdle of the NFL offseason is right around the corner, as rosters must be cut down to 53 players by 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday afternoon. As a result, the New England Patriots are going to be quite busy over the ensuing 24 hours.
While a slew of players are going to be released, the Patriots also have several players who may not have a future with the team that could have value on the trade market. One guy who fits that billing is safety Kyle Dugger.
Despite signing a four-year, $58 million contract extension with New England last offseason, Dugger has fallen out of favor with Mike Vrabel and the new coaching staff.
