Patriots reportedly set to sign ex-Steeler Armon Watts on one-year deal

The Armon Watts Patriots reports: According to multiple sources, including Tom Pelissero of NFL Network and Andrew Callahan of The Boston Herald, the Patriots have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with defensive lineman Armon Watts. The deal, per Callahan, is for “up to $3 million.”

Watts, 27, is set to join the fourth team of his NFL career. The 6-foot-5, 307 pound lineman played for the Steelers in 2023, and drew praise for his ability as a run-stuffer:

He totaled 15 tackles and half a sack with Pittsburgh in 15 games.
