Patriots reportedly interviewed two more offensive coordinator candidates

The Patriots have interviewed Panthers offensive coordinator Thomas Brown and Texans quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson for their open offensive coordinator position, according to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports.

Brown, 37, began his coaching career as a strength and conditioning coach at Georgia in 2011. He coached running backs at multiple colleges including Wisconsin, Miami, and South Carolina, before jumping to the NFL with the Rams in 2020.

Brown was named assistant head coach after his first year with the Rams. Los Angeles won the Super Bowl in 2021. Sony Michel and Darrell Henderson rushed for a combined 1,533 yards and nine touchdowns that season after Cam Akers tore his achilles in Week 1.
