Miami's Cam McCormick was preparing for the 2025 NFL draft a couple of months ago, and now, he is accepting a front office job with the New England Patriots.
Things change quickly in the NFL.
The former college tight end and undrafted rookie free agent will reportedly work with the Patriots as a scouting assistant. There is an automatic connection with Patriots personnel executive Alonzo Highsmith, who was also a Miami alumnus.
McCormick is best known for having nine years of eligibility in college football after multiple season-ending injuries. He'll now take his talents from the college gridiron to the Patriots' front office.
