The Patriots continued what already appears to be a busy start to free agency, bolstering the interior defensive line.
According to both NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Patriots have agreed to a deal worth $26 million per season with 25-year-old defensive tackle Milton Williams.
Williams, who just got done helping the Eagles win the Super Bowl, is now set to be the third highest paid defensive tackle in the league (trailing only Chris Jones Christian Wilkins, per NBC Sports Boston’s Phil Perry).
