The New England Patriots made a roster move on Thursday when they released undrafted free agent Wilfried Pene.
The team signed the defensive end in May. Pene, who’s from Tours, France, did not take up a spot on the 90-man roster because he qualified for an international roster exemption.
Pene played college football at Virginia Tech and Old Dominion. He had 22 tackles, 5.5 for loss, and 3.5 sacks in 13 games.(four starts) during the 2024 season. The 24-year-old went to high school in Connecticut and played football for St. Thomas More School.
