FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that they have released LB Curtis Jacobs, T Caleb Jones, LB Andrew Parker Jr. and C Lecitus Smith.
Jacobs, 23, was claimed off waivers and awarded to the Patriots from Kansas City after he was released from the Chiefs on Aug. 27, 2024. The 6-foot-1, 241-pounder, was originally signed by Kansas City as a rookie free agent out of Penn State on May 4, 2024. Last season, he played in nine games with two starts and finished with 1 tackle on defense and 3 special teams tackles.
