New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye opened up on the throwing session he put together with his teammates in North Carolina.
He assembled multiple players from the Patriots' offense, including Stefon Diggs, Rhamondre Stevenson, Kendrick Bourne, Kyle Williams, Demario Douglas, Hunter Henry and others for some extra work ahead of training camp. There has been an offensive overhaul in New England with new players and the return of longtime offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
Maye is looking to get a head start in hopes of hitting the ground running in training camp.
"I think the bonding is more important than, really, the football," Maye told ESPN's Mike Reiss.
