There was a lot of chatter regarding the Patrios' head coach vacancy going into the 2025 offseason, with many labeling the team an undesirable place for anyone to be hired due to the state of the roster and their recent history of losing more games than winning them. That might be why there weren't many interviews or candidates knocking on Robert Kraft's door, but it all inevitably led to who the owner was presumed to want for the role the whole time: Mike Vrabel.
