New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye was among some of the players who showed up early for training camp on Thursday, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.
Veterans are expected to report by July 22, with the first official day of training camp scheduled for July 23. Rookies and quarterbacks are scheduled to arrive on Saturday, July 19.
Maye recently invited his teammates out to North Carolina for a throwing session and some team bonding ahead of training camp. Multiple players took him up on the invitation, including Stefon Diggs, Rhamondre Stevenson, Demario Douglas, Kyle Williams, Kendrick Bourne, Hunter Henry and others.
