The New England Patriots went back to school for an egg-dropping competition in their official 2025 NFL schedule release on Wednesday.
Christian Gonzalez, Marcus Jones, Robert Spillane and Demario Douglas all participated, while quarterback Joshua Dobbs served as the judge. The goal of the competition was to build protective layers around an egg to prevent it from cracking when dropped from an agreed upon height.
Whenever an egg fell from the sky, the Patriots' social media team flashed a slate of 2025 games on the screen. Gonzalez was the only player with an egg that didn't survive the fall.
