Patriots owner Robert Kraft ‘frustrated,’ not opposed to firing Bill Belichick if struggles continue: Report

Bill Belichick has taken the New England Patriots to nine Super Bowls and won six during his long career with the Patriots.

Belichick, arguably the greatest coach in NFL history, would seem to have the utmost job security. But his position may not be very secure as team owner Robert Kraft reportedly is not opposed to firing Belichick if the team continues to struggle.

“There’s a school of thought that suggests Bill Belichick has earned the right to go out on his own accord, that the architect of the greatest dynasty in NFL history can coach in New England as long as he chooses,” according to The Athletic.
