Good morning, here are your weekly Patriots news 02-13 and some NFL notes
With the annual NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis in the rear-view mirror, the Patriots did their due diligence on a number of potential draft prospects, especially wide receivers, which will make much of the fan base happy.
And the date to franchise tag the team’s own free agents now is in the past as well. The Patriots chose not to franchise CB J.C. Jackson, which in my opinion, means that we’ve probably seen the last of Jackson in a Patriots uniform (more below).
