Going into the 2025 NFL season, the Patriots were chosen as one of the teams to don a new uniform by Nike, inspired by the team's rivalries. It's the first time they've received a new uniform combination in quite some time, and most fans were looking forward to seeing it.
Some had come up with mocks of what they might look like, so when a leak seemed to make the rounds on social media earlier this month, it didn't receive the kind of response that the brand was likely hoping for.
In fact, a majority of Patriots fans were displeased with the color choice, as the jerseys appeared to be more similar to what the Tennessee Titans currently wear than anything that remotely represented New England.
