The 53-man roster is official for the New England Patriots, and second-year wide receiver Javon Baker officially made the team.
Baker was initially viewed as a roster bubble player, but he proved he could contribute in other ways by filling in on special teams. With Marcellas Dial currently sidelined, it made sense for the Patriots to keep Baker around.
The team drafted him in the fourth round in 2024, but he struggled to live up to his rookie hype. He appeared in 11 games and mustered only one reception for 12 yards on the season.
