The New England Patriots will celebrate the career of center David Andrews on Monday, June 2, with a retirement press conference.
This was officially announced by the team in a social media post on Wednesday.
Andrews was released by the Patriots back in March after nine seasons with the team. The move initially came as a surprise considering how much Andrews has meant to the organization. He's a two-time Super Bowl champion and a member of the Patriots' All-2010s Team.
There's arguing against the fact that Andrews is one of the Patriots' great success stories as a former undrafted rookie who went on to become a longtime team captain and key offensive piece for the team.
