Patriots Make a Trade, Send OL Herron to Raiders

After starting the season 0-2, it appears the Las Vegas Raiders needed to add some depth to their offensive line and Josh McDaniels reached out to his old team to get some help.

According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the New England Patriots made a deal with Las Vegas to send offensive lineman Justin Herron to the desert in exchange for swapping draft slots in the 2024 draft, although there were no further details around where that selection might fall.

Herron had 10 starts for New England during his time with the team, with the veteran having joined the club in 2020 after being selected in the sixth round (195th overall) out of Wake Forest.
