Patriots Make A Series of Transactions

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today a series of transactions. The team signed DT Cory Durden to the 53-man roster from the practice squad and released DT Jeremiah Pharms Jr.

In addition, the Patriots elevated DB Corey Ballentine and LB Mark Robinson to the active roster from the practice squad.

Durden, 26, was signed by New England to the practice squad on Aug. 28, 2025. He originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Detroit Lions on May 12, 2023, out of North Carolina State. The 6-foot-4, 305-pounder, was released by Detroit at the end of training camp and was signed by the Los Angeles Rams to the practice squad before joining the 53-man roster and finishing the year on the practice squad.
