This seems like a simple yes/no question but it's actually a bit more nuanced than that. The phrase "starting caliber" can mean different things to different people. Just because a player starts doesn't mean he is starting caliber, like last year when players like Vederian Lowe and Conor McDermott struggled as starters at tackle. I think at this point we will see the Patriots add a tackle in the draft, and if one is added through free agency it will not be a player that most believe is starting caliber.
