The New England Patriots are officially listing tight end Jack Westover as a fullback on their website.
Westover converted to fullback during training camp, and it likely secured his spot on the 53-man roster. He was also given a new number with the change. Instead of wearing No. 87, Rob Gronkowski's old number, Westover will now wear No. 37.
Westover was a walk-on at the University of Washington who went on to earn an All-Pac-12 honorable mention after recording 41 catches for 391 yards and four touchdowns in 2023. His versatility as a receiving tight end and a blocker helped him stand out at the collegiate level.
