New England Patriots legend Randy Moss will be returning to his full-time role on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown” after taking a break due to his cancer diagnosis, The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand reports.
“Randy’s return on Super Bowl Sunday was an emotional lift — not just for our team but for the entire football community — and knowing he will resume his full Sunday NFL Countdown schedule, beginning in Week 1, has been the highlight of the offseason,” ESPN said in a statement to The Athletic.
Moss stepped back from the show in December when he revealed on Instagram Live that he had surgery in Charlotte for cancer, which was found in the bile duct between the pancreas and the liver.
