After an ACL tear ended his season prematurely last August, Raekwon McMillan is all systems go for training camp.
The 26-year-old linebacker was activated off the PUP list on Monday afternoon, a day before veterans are required to report to camp. He could see a major role in the middle of the Patriots defense this year, as he took reps alongside Ja’Whaun Bentley with the first team in minicamp.
A Dolphins second-round pick in 2017, McMillan tore his ACL there, too, but bounced back to start the following two seasons, then spent a year in Las Vegas before landing in Foxborough in 2021.
