New England Patriots linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley spoke at a press conference on Tuesday, and of course, he was asked about the New York Jets acquiring quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a trade with the Green Bay Packers.
The linebacker had the perfect response.
“Seeing moves like that, you get excited,” Bentley said, when speaking to the media.
Bentley is coming off a 2022 season that saw him record 125 combined tackles and three sacks. Both of those statistics were the highest of his career. He also tallied an interception and two pass deflections.
