The New England Patriots had one member of their draft class named to the 2023 PFWA All-Rookie Team: Punter Bryce Baringer.
Baringer, a sixth-round pick out of Michigan State, arrived in the NFL with a big-time leg and certainly put it to use during the 2023 season. Baringer booted 98 punts this past season, the second most in the NFL (which is more of an indictment of the state of the Patriots offense than anything).
Baringer averaged 46.9 yards per punt this past season, which ranked 19th in the NFL. He also had the third-longer punt of the year, clocking in at 79 yards.
