Instead of discussing football on the latest edition of their “Double Coverage” podcast, Patriots defensive backs Devin and Jason McCourty used their platform to discuss George Floyd’s death and the racial injustices that have caused protests across America throughout the last week. The two brothers are calling on other members of the NFL family to speak out in a similar way.
As part of a roundtable discussion that covered multiple social issues, the McCourty twins urged NFL players to use their platforms to speak out about social issues.
