The New England Patriots will kick off their preseason action against the Washington Commanders later this week on Friday. However, that isn’t the only exciting event on the calendar for that day.
Ahead of the game, the Patriots will unveil a new statue of their franchise legend Tom Brady. The decision to create Brady a statue was revealed by Robert Kraft during the retirement ceremony for Brady’s No. 12 jersey last summer.
Considering how Brady led New England to six Super Bowl championships, it’s safe to say he’s a pretty popular figure in the region.
