The New England Patriots haven’t had nearly enough time to fully evaluate their rookie class, hosting just a handful of workouts to this point in the offseason.
Will Campbell and Craig Woodson have still found ways to impress, however.
NBC Sports Boston’s Phil Perry pointed toward that duo as the most impressive during rookie minicamp earlier this month, citing sources within the walls at One Patriot Place.
Campbell is an unsurprising standout, having been selected with the No. 4 overall pick in April. Woodson, however, has done nothing but surprise as he was selected much earlier than anticipated by industry experts and quickly asserted himself as a vocal leader among the rookie class.
