The New England Patriots met with Georgia edge defender Mykel Williams on a top-30 visit. This was reported by NFL Network's Mike Garafolo on Tuesday.
Williams was a dynamic edge rusher for the Bulldogs throughout his career in Athens. He recorded 67 combined tackles, 14 sacks, four pass deflections, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in three seasons with the Bulldogs.
The 2024 campaign saw him record 21 combined tackles, five sacks and two pass deflections.
The Patriots have been linked to the edge position throughout the pre-draft process. If Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter falls on the 2025 draft board, he'd likely be on the Patriots' radar.
