The Patriots hosted former Browns WR Andrew Hawkins for a workout Wednesday.
Hawkins ranked 89th out of 115 qualified receivers last season with an overall grade of 60.0. This was the second consecutive season that Hawkins finished with a low grade (59.6 in 2015); he finished the 2014 season ranked 15th among 109 qualified receivers with an 83.1 overall grade.
Hawkins ran 88.8 percent of his routes out of the slot last season, the second-highest rate among all receivers who ran at least 250 routes. Danny Amendola led the Patriots last season by running 88.
