Patriots honor community heroes at Myra Kraft event

FOXBORO - Heroes from the football field and local communities mingled during this afternoon’s New England Patriots Charitable Foundation awards banquet in the Putnam Club at Gillette Stadium.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, wide receiver Julian Edelman and tight end Ron Gronkowski came straight from their final mini-camp practice to greet the 26 winners of the 2017 Myra Kraft Community MVP Awards.

Patriots Charitable Foundation President Josh Kraft was the emcee and the awards were presented by team owner Robert Kraft and Director of Community Affairs Andre Tippett.

The New England Patriots Charitable Foundation which rewards “volunteerism in the community” was founded by Myra Kraft, the late wife of Robert Kraft.
