FOXBOROUGH — Move over, Travis Hunter.
According to Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, New England might boast the most versatile player in the NFL this season.
“Best two-way player in the league, if you ask me,” Diggs said of Patriots defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga on Tuesday. “The guy does everything he’s asked of and he’s making plays — he’s taking out like eight people, including our own guys.”
The 335-pound Tonga has been one of New England’s top offseason pickups, with the BYU product helping to form a stout defensive line this season alongside Christian Barmore and Milton Williams.
