Michael Jordan has not started an NFL game since the 2021 season. With the New England Patriots facing serious questions along their offensive line, however, the current practice squad member might be called upon to play a prominent role on Sunday.
His potential return to the starting lineup is not the only reason why the Patriots’ regular season opener versus the Cincinnati Bengals will be big for Jordan. It also has a definitive homecoming feel to it: he was born in Cincinnati, played college football at Ohio State, and started his career with his childhood team, the Bengals.
