Patriots' first notable cut of training camp is already painfully obvious

Going into training camp, the Patriots knew they were going to have an intense wide receiver roster battle for the 2025 season. They had 12 players signed to the team, with only a few already considered locks. That continues going into the third week of practices, but there is at least one name that remains at the bottom of the totem pole.

While players like Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas, and Kyle Williams have stolen the spotlight through training camp so far, second-year receiver Ja'Lynn Polk has accomplished the complete opposite. For the most part, it's not entirely surprising, given that he wasn't able to practice for much of the first two weeks.
