(WGGB/WSHM) -- After 24 seasons together, Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots have parted ways concluding one of the greatest coaching stints in the history of sports.
The house that Belichick built will soon be under new management. The legendary head coach and the Patriots agreed to part ways marking the end of one of the greatest coaching dynasties in sports history.
“It’s an amazing opportunity, received tremendous support. We had a vision of building a winner, building a championship football team here, and that’s exceeded my wildest dreams and expectations,” Belichick said Thursday.
Belichick became one of the winningest coaches of all time, taking home 17 AFC East division titles, 10 Super Bowl appearances and 6 Lombardi trophies.
