New England Patriots safety Kyle Dugger spent Monday’s practice on the scout team, which, as noted by Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald, is “another bad sign” with roster cuts coming up.
Dugger (along with former first-round pick Cole Strange), has been among the most notable names rumored to be on the roster bubble.
Patriots executive Eliot Wolf discussed Dugger’s situation on Monday.
“Yeah, I think there’s still a role,” Wolf said of the sixth-year pro, per NBC Sports Boston’s Darren Hartwell.
Dugger has spent his entire career with New England since being selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
